Merry Christmas!
Oh, what a story. Thank you for joining me in this journey through Advent! We’ve spent this season appreciating what Jesus has done for us, by imagining what it would have been like if He had not come. Praise Him that He did! What joy and wonder. We barely hit the tip of the iceberg as we’ve journeyed, but just in our time together, we’ve seen His coming accomplished:
Spiritual Life
Spiritual Light
Spiritual eyes to see
Spiritual ears to hear
Ability to discern the fragrance of His beauty and victory
Ability to taste the wonder of Him
To know His touch
Hope
Assurance
Love
Joy
Peace
Patience
Kindness
Goodness
Faithfulness
Gentleness
Self-control
Reconciliation
Clarity
Redemption
Cleansing
Inheritance
Because He did come, just look at our future that is restored! The story ends triumphantly for those who put their trust in Him.
“Therefore they are before the throne of God,
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;
the sun shall not strike them,
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Revelation 7:15-17
Rejoice! Whether today is lovely or hard, He stooped down to be with us – Immanuel. Oh, Lord, there is none like You.
Merry Christmas to all and Lord, thank You! May many choose Your way of salvation that we would be ready when You come again. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
